Keep In Touch

The best part about DK Online is that it's a massive multiplayer game teeming with interesting people. To get the most out of your experience, you’ll want to interact with the community and forge enduring relationships with other players. We thoroughly encourage you to meet, mingle and befriend those you encounter in the course of your adventure. The following information will help you understand the mechanics of chatting and keep in touch with your friends.

Chatting is divided into five different channels, so you can keep conversations separate and organized: General, Party, Guild, Class and System.

Keys Action
General: General: Activates the General Chat window. Messages typed here are seen by all within a 50-meter radius of you.
+ Party: Activates the Party Chat window. Messages typed here are only seen by members of your party.
+ Guild: Activates the Guild Chat window. Messages typed here are only seen by your fellow guild members.
+ Class: Allows you to chat with users of the same character class.
+ System: Displays game and operator system messages.
+ Whisper: Allows you to speak to someone directly, for one-to-one chatting.

You're Awesome, Let's Be Friends

Being a part of the DK Online community is a key element of your gaming experience. You'll meet smart, talented players from all walks of life who will populate your game world with interesting characters. It would be a shame to lose contact with the wonderful people who make the game universe thrive; that’s why your Friend List may be your best friend of all!

  • Add Friend: This function will allow you to see when your friends come online. Some quest may be to hard to tackle alone or it may be too boring to play alone so meet new friends and add them to your list.
  • Messenger: From the Friends List you can start messenging your fellow compatriots. This function will facilitate your chatting desires.

Of course, not everyone on the internet is going to be your bff. Enter the Ignore list and Remove Friend button!

  • Ignore: If another user is harassing or annoying you – or perhaps you’re just not in the mood to chat – simply add them to this list and you won’t have to hear from them.
  • Remove: Some friendships, like wine, get better with age. Others are more like milk, and become sour. For the latter, there is the option to remove users from your Friend List.

Good games are generally characterized by the way they look or other features. Great games are generally attributed to an amazing community. So get out there and mingle and have a positive effect on the gaming community.
